Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Vantal (“we,” “us”) collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers our marketing site at vantal.ai, the product at app.vantal.ai, and the AI phone agents we run on behalf of our customers.

1. Who we are

Vantal builds AI phone agents for service businesses. Questions about this policy or your data go to privacy@vantal.ai.

2. What we collect

Account data. Your name, email, and business name when you sign up or are invited. Anything you send us in support emails.

Calls.When our agent answers or places a call for one of our customers, we record the audio, transcribe it, and pull out structured details — caller name, callback number, the service requested, appointment info, and so on. Callers often share personal information during a call; we handle that on behalf of our customer, who is the controller of that data.

Forms on the marketing site. Whatever you put into a demo or contact form.

Cookies and analytics. A small set of cookies and light analytics on vantal.ai to see which pages are useful and keep the site running. No cross-site ad trackers.

3. How we use it

To run the service: answer and route calls, transcribe them, show call history in the customer portal, follow up with leads, book appointments, and produce ROI and performance reports for the customer whose calls we answered.

We use a customer’s call data only to improve that customer’s own agent. We do not pool call data across customers for training, and our LLM and voice providers are contractually prohibited from training their models on it.

4. Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the service. They include providers for application hosting, database storage, authentication, voice orchestration, voice synthesis, LLM inference, transactional email, appointment booking, optional SMS, and (where applicable) payment processing. We share with each provider only what they need to deliver their part of the service, under written agreements that require them to protect it and use it solely on our instructions.

5. Sharing

We share information with the service providers described above and nowhere else. We don’t sell personal information and we don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Retention

Call recordings and transcripts are kept for the lifetime of the customer’s account plus thirty (30) days, unless the customer asks us to delete earlier. Aggregate, de-identified analytics may be kept indefinitely to improve the service.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is scoped, audited, and limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit exposure when something goes wrong and to notify you promptly if it affects your data.

8. Your rights

If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don’t sell personal information.

If you are in the EU or UK, you can submit a data-subject request by emailing privacy@vantal.ai. When the data is call data we processed for one of our customers, that customer is the controller and we will route the request to them.

9. TCPA and call-recording disclosures

When Vantal places or answers calls for a customer, that customer is responsible for complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state call-recording rules (including two-party-consent states), and any disclosure requirements that apply to AI-generated or automated voice calls.

10. Children

Vantal isn’t for children. The service is intended for adults, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we’ll post the new version here and bump the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be flagged by email or in-product notice.
