Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-05-20

These terms cover your use of Vantal — the marketing site, the product at app.vantal.ai, and the AI phone-agent service we run for our customers. By creating an account, signing an order form, or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

Vantal provides AI phone agents and a portal for service businesses. The agent can answer inbound calls, place outbound callbacks, qualify leads, book appointments, and surface call history and analytics. Features will change as the product evolves.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You need to be at least 18 to use Vantal, and if you’re signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind it to these terms. Accounts are invite-only. Keep your credentials safe and don’t share logins — everyone at your company should have their own.

3. Fees and billing

Paid plans are usually a flat monthly retainer plus a one-time setup fee. Your specific fees, billing cadence, and term live in your order form. Unless that order form says otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use Vantal to send spam, harass or defraud anyone, break the law, violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act or analogous state laws, or work around the consent gate or other safeguards we put on outbound calling.

5. Your responsibilities

Give us accurate business information — hours, services, pricing, scripts — so the agent can represent you correctly.

For outbound callbacks, you warrant that every lead source you connect to Vantal carries TCPA-compliant prior express written consent for AI or automated calls to the numbers involved. You also handle state call-recording disclosures, including in two-party-consent states.

6. The AI agent

When asked, our agent identifies itself as a virtual assistant. It won’t claim to be a human, and you agree not to configure or prompt it to do so.

7. Intellectual property

We own the platform, software, prompts, models, voice configurations, and any aggregated or de-identified metrics we derive from running the service. You own your call data and your customers’ information, and you grant us a limited license to process it as needed to deliver the service.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal information is in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. We use trusted service providers in categories like hosting, voice orchestration, LLM inference, and telephony; a current named list is available on request to privacy@vantal.ai.

9. Warranties

We work hard to keep Vantal up and performing well, but the service is provided “as is.” We don’t promise any specific uptime, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Liability

Neither side will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability under these terms is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

Each side will defend and indemnify the other for third-party claims arising from its own breach of these terms or its own violation of the law, with reasonable notice, cooperation, and control of the defense going to the indemnifying party.

12. Term and termination

Either of us can end the relationship on thirty (30) days’ written notice. We may suspend or terminate sooner for material breach of acceptable use or for non-payment after notice. When things end, you can ask us to export your data within a reasonable window; after that we delete it on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

14. Changes

If we update these terms we’ll post the new version and bump the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be flagged by email or in-product notice.
